Follow-up report on the special exhibition for the Kulturring Oststeinbek under the direction of the "IBK Institute for Education and Cultural Travel - Hamburg" and our open evening for invited guests.
Full House - with almost 60 visitors the kitchen gallery Kunsthaus Weinstock had almost reached the capacity limit on Monday, 02.10.2023. The format was right, the enthusiasm was great.
Our extensive compilation was very well received. Great conversations were held over champagne and snacks, and the focus was on art and good humor. Utaellamarie Peter, who always looks at the world with a wink in her works and shows people her animal side, as in "Audrey", "Beatrix von Kastilien" or "Mistress Fugger", was just as convincing as the change of perspective by Dirk Brömmel. The series "Kopfüber" shows ships from above and offers an unusual view of things. Our photo artist Marco Stirn also enjoyed great popularity again with his "Staren" and "Coke on Ice". JES - J. Edward Seitz was personally present for the artist talk and explained to the visitors his latest technique and what fascinates him personally about Pop Art. His works feature celebrities like Amy Winehouse ("Amy - hello crazy ones") or Marylin Monroe ("Marilyn") as well as the comic heroes "Popeye" and "Donald".
We thank all visitors for the great evening in a relaxed atmosphere with enriching conversations! The farthest journey on this evening had certainly the Kulturring Osteinbek from Hamburg and surroundings.
