Description

A scene from Paris from the series Travel Diary: Cities and Landscapes. She varies motifs and perspectives from different genres and subject areas. Perspectives familiar from architectural painting as well as vedute* and landscape painting are used as models, as are digital satellite and aerial photographs. Through expressive coloration, impasto painting technique and variations in style, independent compositions between figuration and abstraction emerge.
