PopUp@Lili - Sound meets ART
Dear friends of the Kunsthaus Weinstock,

Die 20. Kurze Nacht der Galerien und Museen in Wiesbaden rückt näher
w
ir sind stolz, dabei sein zu dürfen und voller Vorfreude auf das Kunstprogramm und die Performance “unserer” Wiesbadener Künstler.

As a special event idea, there is art for the eyes and for the ears in the premises of the "Marleen" in the Lili.

The final event will take place at our place until 02:00!

THE ART:

JES - J. Edward Seitz - Painting
PopArt - perfectly realized by hand: Inspired and inspired by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, JES develops his own - highly concise - visual language by means of serigraphy, collages, airbrush and acrylic painting and completely reimagines the classic motifs of PopArt such as Marilyn Monroe next to Ayrton Senna and Freddie Mercury next to Snoopy and Mickey in his unique way of making.

Marco Stirn - Photographs
Marco Stirn is a photo artist and photographer. People are his medium. This is also the case with the work "Olivia", which was created over a period of one year: daily-every morning 1/60 second - same place, consistent - one camera - only one picture - one model. Analog and unedited. In a time when our eyes are used to Instagram filters and retouching, this yearly cycle comes across as very inventive and uniquely unchangeable because of the analog photographs. Refreshingly new and yet so old.

Andy Warhol (After)
- Graphics

Andy Warhol was one of the most colorful personalities in 20th century art and one of the main representatives of Pop Art. We are very pleased to present five works from the famous Sunday B. Morning Edition - printed on the original Warhol printing blocks - from an impeccable collection.

Christie's is auctioning "Shot Sage Blue Marilyn" by Andy Warhol
in New York in May. It could become the most expensive work of art ever auctioned for an estimated $200 million.
the most expensive work of art ever sold at auction .

Here you have the opportunity to purchase a work of the artist at a preferential price.

THE SOUND:

As "opener" from 7 pm we could win Mona Lisa. The Wiesbaden duo with Mona Moussa and Marcel Opitz presents songs that deal with memories and dreams. With this, the two want to find a balance - between lightness and melancholy, dreaminess and dynamics, catchiness and depth. Stylistically, the songs move between singer-songwriter, pop music and influences from rock and indie. Friend and guitarist Lukas Schmitz provides dreamy, electric guitar riffs and the technical support.

At 8 pm Verbis will accompany us through the evening: Verbis is the Latin word for lyricism. The up-and-coming hip hop artist with studio experience writes from the heart and raps with body and soul.

From 9 p.m. Skæmtson will continue to accompany us through the evening: After almost 10 years as a cover musician (with KickBin, Couchpotatos, Stephan Ohnhaus and the Cream Machine, among others), Wiesbaden artist Niclas Wlochowitz is breaking new ground. With his own songs from the areas of German pop & rock and a top-class band (David Lippert, Daniel Hauser, Frank Bündgens, Marco Carl and Dominik Hardt) Skæmtson wants to inspire and take them on a musical journey.

The final point is then set from 23 clock: DJ NicAdelanté with his groovy sounds from the turntable.

Admission is free - but the musicians* are very happy about a voluntary donation! A big hat is ready...
