A group exhibition with artworks by Ottmar Hörl, Utaellamarie Peter and Alessandro Padovan. We will be showing unique and special pieces.

In addition to the vernissage, there is of course still the opportunity to visit the exhibition on the occasion of the 21st Short Night of Galleries and Museums on April 1st from 19:00 - 24:00. A stop of the Rolling Museum is nearby at Schwalbacher Straße.

The finissage is - also at WiCoPop* - on Sunday,
April 2nd from 10.00 to 12.00.

Utaellamarie Peter - Painting
"I paint, therefore I am" Around the year 2010, a paintbrush ran across my path, Uta Ella Marie Peter, a trained chemical engineer, and has not left me since. My works are mostly figurative or semi-abstract, often large-scale, colorful, in acrylic or oil. Gladly I call my style IRREalism - the combination of IRRE and realism.

Alessandro Padovan - Wall Objects
Alessandro's Screw Art is not yet very well known, but in recent years he has managed to present his works in galleries, auction houses, art fairs in Italy, abroad and in important charity events.
The peculiarity of this work is, of course, the technique and the three-dimensional effect obtained by screwing ordinary screws at different depths and painting on them.

Ottmar Hörl - Unique Pieces and Multiples
The idea of the original is generally overrated. The original is a chimera. An artistic achievement lies in the expression of the effect it has on a society. This effect is not negotiable. There are paintings that change the world such as Picasso's Guernica and others that serve as living room decorations. The fact that a painting is an original says nothing. Making an original is the easiest thing in the world.
It is much more difficult, for example, to repeat the complexity of a painting process, that is, to create an identical picture.

Die diesjährige 21. Kurze Nacht der Galerien und Museen in Wiesbaden findet am 1. April 2023 mit der Rekordzahl von 35 teilnehmenden Museen,
Kunstvereinen, Projekträumen und Galerien statt. Nach Abwesenheit im vergangenen Jahr sind auch der Wiesbadener PopJazzChor und das Rollende Museum wieder mit dabei. Die 21. Kurze Nacht der Galerien und Museen gehört damit nicht nur zu den ältesten Museumsnächten in Deutschland, sondern ist in jedem Frühjahr für Wiesbaden, aber auch überregional, ein unumstößliches Kulturevent. Diese Veranstaltung lockt mit einem spannenden und facettenreichen Programm viele tausende Besucher aus dem Großraum Rhein-Main in die Landeshauptstadt, macht die Nacht zum Tag und ist Botschafter für den hohen kulturellen Anspruch der Stadt.
Von 19 bis 24 Uhr freuen wir uns zusammen mit weiteren 34 teilnehmenden Institutionen und Galerien bei traditionell freiem Eintritt auf Sie und Ihre Familie, Freunde und Bekannte.
